Du Mont, Henry: Complete Instrumental Pieces, vol. 2

Henry Du Mont was an important church music composer in the latter part of the 17th century. He published nearly 100 Petits Motets, with voice supported and accompanied by instruments. These motets also include 32 instrumental movements, probably intended for viols, mostly in three parts (tt, bc, or tT, bc, sometimes with an independent B part as well). The music has been divided into 4 volumes; nos. I-III are for three parts with continuo , no. IV has some four part pieces as well.
